Default Splash mud guards

Anyone installed those on their IS? With our car being so low, will the guards hit speed bumps?

I installed OEM splash guards as soon as i got my car, and it doesn't scrape any more than my car already does (on superdowns), usually only high speed bumps.

Here is a thread regarding splash guards. I don't think anyone mentions any scraping.

Can you share cost and part no. for OEM splash guards? As far as I know, there was no such thing available when I bought my 2015.

Was thinking the same thing. Drilling holes just kills any appeal for me.

i actually installed aftermarket (made in china) mudgurads on my RX before. all i needed to do was to screw the mudguard on into the (soft) panel. i didn't need to "drilled" it with any tools. the panel on the RX was not pre-drilled, however, it had these small "dimple" like marking on the panel and it conveniently match the "pre-drilled" holes on the mudguard, so i all i did was line up the "holes" on the mudguard to the "dimple" and put on the scews. i did that all by hand, no power tools required, the panel on the car is very soft plastic/rubber material.

the mudguards also had a couple of holes at the bottom and they lined up perfectly with the a couple of screws there are already underneath the RX, so i just unscrew them and put them back on w/ the mudguards. hope my explanation make sense.

i got the RX mudguards on taobao.com (chinese ebay) and ask family friends to bring them over, but i think nowadays they ship to oversea too and i've seen them (rx guards) on aliexpress.com as well. i am pretty sure amazon has them too.
