Quote: if you don't drill the holes on the bumper, would the lip flap around at high speed since its only held by the screw in the back?

Same questions..

How is it holding up as of now with just the clips?

I just got the lip !

Anyone notice how flimsy it is? lol, is it normal for these sort of replicas?

I was gonna wrap or paint, but from the quality of the lip, I don't think its worth it..

I'll try to take pix this weekend. Yeah, that's what I said too! I broke 2 rep lips so far. It's not as bad as breaking a real lip! Haha

Swear, I could pick it up from one end and swing it around like a swimming noodle. But, reps a rep. I won't cry if it breaks lol.

Have anyone notice that it does not sit flush on the ground? Like when I put it down flat, it sort of have waves or curves, and pops up in certain areas?

It's sitting in the car waiting to install this week. Pics soon.

Thats the the nature of polyurethane. Will be straight when mounted. It is fairly strong. Took a lot of beating before breaking. I hit something on the freeway and it dragged until it broke.

Oh nah, I went with the aimgain rep from eBay. I contact CarID about the lip, they weren't helpful in telling me how it should be installed and such. But I image it wouldn't be any different than any other lip. Lost my biz, cuz they guy was a jerk lol.

So, I just mounted the lip today & used up all the screws that were included towards the front bumper, cause I wanted it to look more flushed.

The screws that were suppose to be at the very end of the lip, where it flares up, I didn't put a screw on either side. Wonder if it would be an issue??

*Here a pic of where I mean.

I drove home on the freeway going 70-80. & it doesnt seem to flap. The ends are still mounted using the clips and factory screws. Just didn't have enough self tapping ones.

I'll see how it goes.
