i ordered it from Amazon but they sent me the wrong part so I ended up picked it up from CarQuest. I brought it to the shop and they charged me $85 for changing the brakes and turning the rotors. ACT1118 is the pads for IS 200t and IS 350

Are the front and rears the same brake pads?

No, they are not.
Unless your rears are worn out, no need to replace them as they don't have much dust.

+1

That's probably 8 or 9 sets of Akebonos if not more.

Update:
After a few days of driving with the Akebono pads, breaking feels great, just as good as the F-sport. Brakes will be more effective once I break it in.
Best part is, all the dust is practically gone! No squeaking or vibrations.
Installation took about an hour including time to clean the old hardware.
+1 for Akebono. No need to spend $600 on brake pads.

This is the least expensive I was able to find the Akebono ACT1118 ($46.05 for the pair)....but does anyone have experience with this website?

where are you getting $600 on pads? OEM?

OEM Lexus pads on eBay are $48.

I was referring to some members getting Endless pads. $550 + Tax = around $600.

I paid $109.46 shipped from Discount Brake for my Akebono ceramic pads. I'm waiting for a good day to install them. I had them on my Subaru before and loved them so I decided to go with them again. Also had Hawk pads on my Subaru.....much prefer the Akebonos.

oh ok. yeah that's kind of wasteful. its not like this is a Lotus or some other dedicated ultra high performance machine where every last dollar counts.

3,500 lb luxury sedan with sort of mushy suspension tuning.

but hey whatever people feel like they want to spend on their car. only live once lol

Other than the Akebono's, are there any performance ceramic pads that fit the 2016 IS200t F-sport, or are these the best all around? I hate the brake dust of the OEM pads, so +1 on that, but don't want to lose any of the stopping power that the OEM pads have...

I swapped out my OEM for my Akebonos yesterday. Much better than stock, but like I said I have had them before on other vehicles so I knew that was going to be the case
