Default 2014 IS350 F Sport Roof Wrap Cost?

I'm just trying to get an idea of how much I should be dishing out to get my roof wrapped in gloss black, including the shark fin antenna. My car does have a sun roof. I've been quoted more than $400 from the shops around my area (Omaha) that actually seem to know what they're doing. The one shop that quoted me $300 sort of gave me a vibe that they weren't confident they knew exactly how to do what I wanted them to do ("Oh we've never done that before but... it shouldn't be a problem"). Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am in Jacksonville Florida and i got my roof wrapped for $150, gloss black and included the shark fin. I got my roof wrapped in South Florida for $90 when i provided the wrap and just had them install on my 350z.

It depends on the shop and location. I'm in the Bay Area (Northern CA) and shops here will charge around $300. I would be less concerned about the money than the quality of work. I've seen some crappy wrap jobs before

I did my gloss black roof wrap for $250 at Impressive Wraps in California :/
DIY isn't that hard but with 2 people it would be a breeze in wrapping it except for the shark fin antenna which is frustrating...

Had it done for $160 (roof + fin + stock spoiler). Still looks immaculate to this day (installed Nov 2014).

How did they do the fin for you? Finally found a reputable business that quoted me $250. He said for the antenna there would be a seam but that it would hardly be noticeable unless you were up close and looking for it.

My fin had the seam and you couldn't notice it unless you knew about it and were looking very closely for it.

They took off the antenna and wrapped it in one piece - which is how it should be properly done and a testament to how skilled the wrappers are..

Got mine wrapped in southern california by JP Wraps (check his IG) for $150. He did it by himself and it took him one hour (hes been wrapping for a long time), he went around the fin which isnt noticeable at all unless you search for it. The corners and edges are incredible. Most places i have called will charge around $200 in southern california, any price above that is killer IMO.

Alright so I found another place near here...They've given me two quotes for this job, one for using what he called 3M 180 (he described it as "economy") for $300 and the other for 3M 1080 (which I assume would be more like luxury) for 435. Anybody know the difference? A quick google search turns up the 1080 but I can't find anything on the 180.

I've never heard of 180, but I do know that most professional wrappers use 3M or Avery Dennison. I have a friend who worked for 3M and he told me it's technically the same thing as both companies get their inventory from one big supplier.

ive used the cheaper eBay wraps before and although they look good and easier to wrap at first, they do not last long. They're very thin, they fade color quick and they Rip easier if you wrap using a heat gun

Thank you for the quick reply. The guy sounds awesome. Called him up and booked an appointment for this week. Really appreciate it! They wanted $325 at #201Wrap.
