Hi guys, I have been wanting to replace my OEM start button but the options on the market is very limited. We have the TRD start button which is a complete replacement of the start button itself with GREEN LED light which I do not like as it doesn't match with the 3IS background light at all. It fits 2IS perfectly though.


Second choice would be the TOM's start button cover replacement which I do not like either as I do not have any TOM's part on the car and I think it looks kinda plain. Like this one,


Until recently I have found a company in Japan that can actually customize start button for my car, I decided to give them a shot and try out their work and product. So tonight I have come up with several designs here and wanting to share with you guys, hopefully you can help me to pick the best looking design as the printing service and the part itself are not cheap. Anyways, let's look at some pictures and vote for the one that you think looks the best.

What color is your interior?

 

My interior color is black. I'm leaning towards #2 or #3.

 

I like 2 and 3 as well, but I would love one in white/black

 

​​​​​​The printing service and the part itself is not cheap so I wanna give it a shot to see the product quality and printing quality. However a group buy should bring down the cost of each unit. I will chat with the printing company see if it is possible. Thanks for the input, I like the #2 and #3.

 

I have black interiors I don't think black background would stand out. I did think about black background at the beginning.

probably #5. "Engine start" is unnecessary. we all know what the button does.. lol. Red is a bit tacky. This might be better in black with white lettering. Subtle is ALWAYS the best. Always. no r1ce.

 

I will bite the bullet and see what kind of quality of product we can get first. If product quality looks good let's host a group buy. I will get you guys posted once I place my order but need to figure out which one to order first lol.

 

Yeah simplicity is always the way to go but I think it's a little bit too plain with just F-sport logo

 

I voted for #3 but I'd take #2 too. 2 and 3 look real good.

 

So I asked for a pic for their work last night, I got a reply from them with a pic attached. This will be the finished product of the start button itself. Looks like OEM quality but not 100% sure until I actual get the product. I am thinking of placing the order tonight. what do you think???
