I would appreciate any feedbacks!

Tonight my IS200t just started to make the same noise as the OP's video. It has 5k miles. Hopefully the dealer visit is painless.

I just got my second replacement done. Lexus dealer had no issue replacing the part for the 2nd time since the car is still under warranty. However, the dealer did ask me to fill up a questionnaire to have my driving habits on file. It's not a big deal though. Lexus should worry about their part's reliability instead of their customer's driving habits.

I just got back from the dealership too complaining on the noise but they said is normal and didn't change any **** for me. Consider yourself lucky haha. In Canada we always get **** *** service from everyone !

Is this the same issue as the one found in this thread or do these deal with different defective parts? https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...ost-issue.html

I just started hearing this buzzing noise from my car too and I'm right around 12k miles. Nobody in the other thread mentions hearing this noise but they do notice boost fluctuations on the boost gauge. Unfortunately I don't have the F sport package so I can't see what is going on with the boost in my car but the pulls do feel weaker to me.

So I’ve noticed the same “humming” noise on my 16 IS200t fsport, 19k miles. I took it to the Lexus dealership last week and they advised that the sound was my turbo going bad. They’ve had it work a week but still can’t isolate the fault to the turbo because it’s not throwing up any codes. Just called them back to today after a long weekend and they basically told me the sound was normal for a turbo car. So I stated, it was normal, why didn’t the other is200t’s at the dealership make that sound. All the gave me was a ??? Look and I hope you enjoyed the loaner car.

Does anyone know how to replace the vacuum valve regulator? At this point, I’ll just change the part myself so I don’t have to deal with the stealership for this issue. Thanks in advance!

That dealership is clueless! I replaced them myself since i have a few modifications which i think the dealer would not be pleased with. I relocated mine near the oil dipstick for easy access if it goes again.

So I got the new regulator valve in yesterday. Howerver, does anyone know how to access the bolts? Looks like you have to get at it from the bottom. And it looks like it connected to another sensor that sits on top of it. I have the intake tube off and I still see no way to get it. Can anyone provide so insight?

Taking my car in this Saturday for the same humming noise as the video from OP. I'm a little shy of 13K miles - 2017 200t. Mine is not an F sport.

I was having the same issue. Looks like it was the vacuum switching valve no 2 for me that was making that distinct tock sound. I unplugged and inspected it, didnt see anything physcailly wrong with it so I plugged it back and the tock was gone.

I had mine replaced twice under warranty by the stealership at 23k & 33k miles.

I'm currently at 40k. Hoping it doesn't go out again at 43k...

I hope Lexus has fixed this issue by 2018 models. but seeing how Lexus keeps installing the same part and still causing issues, it assures me that they haven't solved the problem with a brand new updated part.

I have a 2018 built dec 2017, hopefully i dont run into this issue. Currently have 5k miles

I have an issue with my IS200T. As of late, there's been a hesitation to accelerate. The other day, car completely shut down, luckily i was just moving from a stop light and going into a gas station. Car lost power, I slowly pulled in and Check engine light came on. Added some gas, checked fluids, all seem fine. Also, I only put premium grade gasoline in this thing. Car currently has less than 28k miles so it's not like service is due either. Restart car and it drove normal but it still has been hesitating to accelerate. I will take it in this month for the 30k Mile service and report to the service people. I made sure i took a video with the check engine on.

Would not recommend this motor to anyone, just get an IS350. Luckily my lease ends next summer and with Lexus pull ahead program I should be out of this car in May.

So where was the initial location of that valve?

Have the same issue with that valve. So just curious where was it located before you placed it next to the dipstick
