Today, this large capacity Lexus 3.5L V6 engine is using thin oil @ 0W 20 to reduce the fuel consumption, however this thin oil causes more NVH issues.
Try a thicker grade oil, but still within the acceptable limits detailed in your Lexus Owner's Manual.
Any updates on this? I think I've been experiencing this since my car was almost new, and started a thread about it. Are we talking about the same thing?
I've been curious about trying a thicker oil too -- I don't see any reason to worry about a 5w-30 in this engine, especially where I live (Texas).
