Default Lease Residual question

Does Resididual vary depending on the trim and model?

Dealer quoted a residual of 61% for a $45k IS300 premium, nav, blind spot, a few other things -- for 36 months, 10k miles.

That seems on the low side.

Should I ask for residuals for the IS350, and for the F-Sport versions to see if they are any higher?

Or is the 61% for all engine/package/option at that term/mile?

it may be higher since the IS350 is a more expensive trim. i don't think it would be by much though.

That's the correct residual for 10K.

IS200t/300 are 58% for 36 months, 350 and 350 AWD are 57%.

You add 2 points for 12k/yr and 3 points for 10k/yr (Hence your 61%).

Thanks, is the residual also the buyout amount if you want to keep the car?
Or is that number higher than the residual?
And does Lexus charge a purchase fee if a person decides to buy the car?

Yes. Residual is what you can buy the car for. Right now you don't want to buy an IS for residual, but who knows what will happen in the future.

There is no purchase option fee but LFS does charge a $400 disposition fee that's waived if you finance or lease another car from TFS or LFS.
