IS 250 AWD 28-30k Service Question (what to expect)
Hello CL,
I recently bought a used is 250 2014 F sport AWD and would like to get an idea as to how much my 30k service bill may run me. I was reading other posts and seems clear not to go to the Lexus dealership if I don't want to get violated. Toyota dealerships seems to be the popular answer as well as some do it yourself.
This is my first car so excuse me for being a noob.

This is what the local lexus dealer here does:

. Rotate tires and advise wear
. Inspect brakes and advise on wear
. Adjust tire pressure
. Inspect under caniage for damage and leaks
. Inspect and top off all fluid levels
. Top offwindshield washer fluid
. Resetm aintenanceli sht
. Replace cabin A/C filter
. Inspect engine air filter
. Re-torque bolts
. Check all external lighting
. Inspect the exhaust system
. Inspect chassis components
. Inspect fuel and vapor system
connections
. Replace brake fluid
. Perform lexus
Multi-Point check
. Road test vehicle
. Replace keyless entry
remote battery
. Includes car wash
and vacuum
This was about 600 bucks...
It's basically a bunch of check this check that outside of brake fluid which you really don't need unless you track your car non stop.

Ahh ok. Sounds good. I think I may take the L since I just bought it used and can't really confirm the maintenance schedule and detail so I'll do do a full then later do it myself or independent
