Lol yea my sti was extremely loud with no resonator and no cats with EWG which was amazing.

I ended up moving forward with Invidia. Main reason is the loudness. I am trying to get away from a "loud" car and Invidia seems perfect. I should be getting it end of this week. Super stoked!!!

I have the invidia axleback along with a takeda intake. I'm more than satisfied with this set up. It's still stockish when cruising and only louder under wot. I'm done with loud exhaust. Even with this set up there is a minor drone if you listen close enough with radio off. I can't even imagine how much more drone a catback will produce. I had an evo that was fast but got sick of the loud exhaust. I'm just at the age where I prefer less noise . The IS is just not a car meant to have a loud exhaust. After all it's not race spec'd but rather a sporty comfortable luxury sedan.

I have the ark exhaust on my IS350 and have to say its not as loud as people make it out to be. Definitely not as loud as some subarus and mustangs that go zipping by me which are obnoxiously loud. Everyone thats heard the ark exhaust startup and drive by in person says that it perfectly fits the car and the sound is aggressive but not over done. Videos really don't give the ark exhaust justice of how it sounds compared to in person.

To be honest I've listened to so many videos before getting my ark exhaust they all sound "loud" in their videos. Lol

Ark and Invidia have different tones in my opinion. The Ark is higher and raspier and also cost more, but I think it is one of the best sounding exhausts in person..

Yea thats what I meant, tones are different between the different brands of exhaust but they all seem "loud" on video. Agreed Josh, Ark definitely sounds awesome in person.

Thanks. He probably did not understand why I said that. I was speaking from my own experience, I had JoeZ axle back paired with F-sport intake. Then decided to add Invidia midpipe to complete full cat back exhaust. Now it sounds just awesome.

Link to an in cabin video of the ark exhaust on the IS350 not my car or video. Its a rwd but sounds exactly the same in my AWD IS350 besides this guys wheels rubbing. I've been meaning to make a sound clip video but I've been busy. And to answer your question, on a scale of 1-10 inside the car I'd give it a 7 of how much louder it got but in a good way for me. Sounds great with a deep low rumble as it shifts into the higher gears. Also if you listen to music while you drive, you barely even hear it or notice any drone at 2100 rpm. The drone is very minimal even without music.

ark grip sounds the best, i just don't like how far the exhaust sticks out of the diffuser i think it makes it look a little like a ricer car... but otherwise get the ark grip definitely
