Great write up but I'm leaning towards the set that DT Moto provides..http://www.ebay.com/itm/Retrofit-201...-/381602951906

I was wondering if the installation would be roughly the same and how is the quality of this set. I've heard the one from iJDM are too bright and has some fitment issues. So before I pull the trigger on either one I want to inquire more about the two sets.

does anyone know where I might get a aftermarket fog light switch that will be the correct size for the IS's siwtch panel on the left of the steering wheel?

Toyota seems to have several sizes. Will this work?

To those that have the jdmtoy fogs, how's it looking at night? How's the light output from your end and have other drivers flashed their brights at you?

Thanks!

I've read that whole thread already and everyone says its bright and that it it'll probably blind incoming traffic. But I am curious about some real feedback from owners who has had it for a few months now. Whether other drivers are severely annoyed by the bright lights or if its not really a big deal

it's blinding and everyone states this. What more you need?
I personally had it and I got rid of them really quick.
if a cop was in front of me I turn them off right away.

Imagine standing in a parking lot at night, your car is facing you and unlock the car and they blind you while you walk towards it when they flash. (depending how you wired them up)

I've had them for 6 months now and nobody has flashed their lights at me. I still like them although the fitment could be better

I don't understand why people use fog lights when there's no fog. Cops can give you a ticket for having your fog lights on when there is no fog

I don't understand either; especially in SoCal. The only rationale I can come up with is "more light = better".

it's bright if you look at them but it actually doesn't do much for light out put. I used to have some ford fusion fogs and I can actually drive with the fusion fogs on. These I cant, they just look bright, that's it.
