Smoking tire is very good and the reviewer observations are on the spot. I test drove the ATS and many web sites praised its handling but I found it to be bouncy, and after watching the smoking tire episode about the ATS I was surprised he noticed the exact thing.

 

CR is not an 'objective' place to get a review. For them it is all about who donated money to them.

Back in the '80s they condemned the Suzuki Samurai. But what people don't know, is that at the time they were in need of money since they just moved into a new facility and when they approached Suzuki about it, Suzuki told them no. So they rigged the test to get the Samurai to go up on 2 wheels and ever since then they like to brag about how they brought that particular failure to the world.

I wouldn't pay any attention to any CR recommendations.
