Default 3IS Intake Preference

Hey guys! I wanted some suggestions and preference for the best intake on a 2016 IS300? Cold air? Short ram or long ram? Looking more for better noise rather than performance.

As I was reading the forums I saw several people mention "Joe-Z intake." What kind of intake is it and how does it benefit the car?

Thanks!

If you are looking for a loud intake I would look into any short ram open air filter intake. Some brands would be.
Takeda
Injen
Etc.

I have had JoeZ intakes on both my 2IS and 3IS. They are performance proven intakes that utilize existing intake box so it is not loud compared to short ram intakes.

Got it, thanks. Will a short ram air intake on a IS350 fit on a IS300 since its the same engine?

Do you notice and experience performance gains with the joeZ intake?

Takeda CAI Stage 2 enough said. That thing sounds so good when you punch on it.

The gas pedal feels more responsive both in drive and in sport mode with the JoeZ. You can search the forum in the 2IS section and you will find several dyno threads on the intake and exhaust.

Yes any intake for the IS250 or IS350 should fit the IS300.
