Default Break Caliper Painted?

Anyone have their break calipers painted if so how was it and if you have any feedback/pics. I have a Nebula Gray and was thinking of painting it red.

It's pretty easy, I went blue on mine, just have to take a little extra time taping off the back because of the holes as compared to the front. The stickers can be found by searching eBay "f sport caliper decal"

Pretty easy. Just make sure you spend the time to 1. Mask completely the wheel well and rotors
2. Prep the caliper - meaning clean, brush, clean ,brush, clean, clean
3. If you decide to do the clear coat spray - be patient and really let it dry, min 24 hrs. I was impatient, and the clear coat actually started to eat up the semi-moist paint Oh, and give the decal time to bond after it is completely dry. Not doing so will cause the edges to peel. I had to start all over on one caliper.

Are those F Sport performance brakes? Or did you just painted the Fsport logo on as well?

And did you also paint your F sport rims? Looks black in the pic..

Spray clean the grease, oil, dirt off. Brush clean to get clean to the surface. Wipe down with clean rag. I done 4 coats of primer. 20 minutes between each coat. 6 base coats of red. 1 hour between each coat because the sun went down. Let it dry over night. Laid on my decal and did 6 coats of clear coat. 30 minutes between each coat. Let it dry completely before peeling tape from edges. Although it might feel dry on the outside. The inside layers may still be wet. Paint can lift off. I let everything dry over night once again before actually driving it on the road to be safe.

They are just normal IS350 F-sport brakes. I had the wheels powder coated black.

Those black powder coated IS wheels look sexy. How much did it cost you? my 3IS is black. May be looking into doing this in the future.

Ohh I see.

How are the paint holding up on the brakes and wheels?

And did you get the wheels done professionally? It would look good on a white Is
