I'm looking to switch my stock fogs a yellow "JDM" style bulb ... My issues is I can't seem to find solid information on what size the bulbs are.

I have the premium package which upgrades the headlights to LED ... Slyvania's website list 2 options for fog lights for the 2015 IS, they don't list the 2016 yet, they list an LED with no replacement options and then an H11 bulb.

Anyone know for sure, without taking the fogs apart to find out, which is the correct bulb size and if it's replaceable?

 

there's most likely no bulb to change if it's a 2016, should be a built in LED

Based on page 5 of this document, 2016 Lexus IS Specs they are LED (LED Foglamps) so I'm guessing they're not replaceable... or are they?

 

I believe you are correct ... I think the only option is going to be to swap the fogs all together with the ones I linked above.

 

Headlights can't be changed however, the fogs lights can be changed. Search on Amazon or Ebay for size H11 yellow jdm bulbs or white led. Depending on what color you are planning to change. In addition, you could always buy yellow vinyl and apply it to the fog lights.

The correct fog light bulb is H16 Type 2, make sure it's Type 2 and not Type 1 there's a huge difference. The difference between H11 and H16 is H11 uses 55W and H16 use 19W. The H11 bulb will fit in the housing, but I wouldn't use it because it might be too much power for the stock wiring. Unless you get a LED H11 bulb that have a lower output then it's okay.
