Default L-Certified

Hey all,
So a few weeks back I bought an L-Certified IS, a 2014. Love it, all is good. However I'm confused. I've bought CPO cars from Honda, Acura, and Chevy and I've usually gotten a card or something that said here's your warranty, here's the expiration dates, etc. Anyone with an L-certified car, did you get something outlining your expiration dates and such? I signed up at the Lexus site and I can see where the dealer certified the car, but I've received nothing since.

Thanks in advance.

Should have received a book like this with a card inside that has your car info on it

They should've given you more than just that, wierd when I get home I'll take a pic of what I got and post it for you, plus in your contract it should show the warranty info. I decided to get extra coverage (cuz I drive everywhere for work) so I have a different sheet that covers additional warranty stuff.

get in contact with the dealer you bought it from, and ask if you received one with your car

I bought my pre-owned L/Certified IS 350 from a Lexus dealer on Saturday, 3/26/2016. The letter you are referring to just arrived today with two detachable cards to keep with you about the warranty and the roadside assistance.

i bought an l/certified car in december during the december to remember sales event and never received the above. that might have something to do with the revamping of the l/certified program, though. at the time of sale, i did purchase, however, an l/certified extension to extend the warranty to six years or 100k miles. the cost was about $2k and i'm annoyed to hear that you can purchase warranty extensions for up to six years with unlimited mileage.

can i have lexus prorate the warranty and then purchase another? is it even worth the extra cost and hassle? are the prices significantly higher than $2k to extend to six years, unlimited miles?
