Hey guys,

I just purchased an Ultra white 2016 IS350f Sport and want to get the windows tinted. I went to a tint place and they had the suntek film (i think it was suntek carbon).

Anyways, I'm debating between all around 25% and all around 35%

Any advice and/or recommendations?

I'm currently running the SunTek CarbonXP and haven't had any problems. I suggest you go to the darkest legal tint you can get, especially on a white vehicle. The contrast looks awesome. Although, I wouldn't suggest that if you have trouble seeing well at night.

I currently have the CXP18 all around that is specified to have 16% VLT, combined with the stock 70% from the factory it puts out a low ~11-12%.

 

I got 19% on rear windows, 35% on front driver and passenger.

 

I would recommend getting 5% rear and 20% front if you're in CALI.

 

Too dark will attract the popo's.

 

Well mine's not white but that's Llumar CTX 30 on the 4 doors with 20 on the back window.
