Default Ark exhaust install question

Hey guys,

So went to get my Ark Grip exhaust installed today. The shop cut my stock exhaust because they couldn't slide it out with the brace being under the exhaust. Is that normal or should they have been able to take off the brace and pull out the exhaust? Attached a picture of the brace on another car but same idea. Will I be able to go to another exhaust shop and have them weld it together if I want to go back to stock?
Sorry for the lack of pictures.

They were suppose to remove that brace. Thats for almost every car, you simply unbolt one side, move it, and slide the exhaust out..

You would need to get it welded together if you want to put back your stock exhaust.. The shop should not have to cut anything. All they had to do was remove the brace.

Thanks guys. Looks like I chose the wrong shop... Definitely gonna have another shop check out my exhaust to see if it's even installed correctly

Yeah my husband and I installed mine ourselves and we just removed that brace, removed the stock exhaust, installed the new exhaust and replaced the brace. They definitely shouldn't have cut anything.

As long as they have a welder, and have someone on site with experience I don't see why not.

They could weld it back together, but it's just a pain for you to have to pay for and do this. Installing an exhaust is bolt off/bolt on procedure.

Hello I just installed this ark exhaust on my car.
I have question for you.
1. the part of the H pipe is rest on the brace.
1.1- is this normal?
1.2- do you need this brace?
2. where did you get that brace to replace the OEM one?
3. does your make that annoying too loud sound (or drone) at around 1500-2000 rpm?
4. my car make louder exhaust sound from the truck (rear) than it make from outside the car is this normal?
5. did you sound deadening your car?
