HELP! New member/owner with a problem
Hey everyone,
Recently (late August) pulled the trigger on a 2015 IS 250 F Sport! First "luxury" car that I've purchased and I'm in love with it.
That being said, I have an issue that I'm hoping you guys can help me with. I was driving on the highway and I drove over a foreign object (tire/piece of metal?). I pulled over and thankfully, nothing was damaged on the exterior. However, there was this piece that was left awkwardly hanging from the bottom of the car. Please excuse my lack of car terminology but it appears to be a piece of the panel.
I've attached pictures of the piece that's hanging but if anyone knows what that is, please share. I'm unsure whether or not to cut it off or take it to the dealer to be fixed. I tried applying tape and it worked temporarily but it came back down after I drove to work. Is this a really bad situation or am I overreacting?
Any feedback would be great, thanks!

It looks as if it is plastic. I'd remove it and save it for your next service at Lexus.
I'd remove it only because I wouldn't want it flying off while I'm driving and cause panic to a driver behind me. You can show it Lexus at your next service and get their opinion if it is worth repairing.
