Anyone have an aftermarket subwoofer and fix the trunk rattle?
I've heard some say they have the same problem. Mine rattles BAD.
Any ideas?
Will dynamat fix it?

that's a very valid response, most rattles in the trunk are caused by the plates vibrating. if you're just going to criticize people helping you then why bother asking for help in the first place?
With that said, if the plate isn't the issue check the rear deck, i would take off all the plastic and dynamat it then reassemble

Where is the rattle coming from exactly? The only rattle I experienced was between my license plate and license plate frame. I applied a few pieces of one-sided sticky foam about 1/4" thick and that stopped the rattling noise.

The license plate on the IS only has 2 screws so when the bass thumps hard the vibration makes it tap the trunk and rattle. If you get some pipe insulation tape (foam tape) ... this stuff

put it on the back of your license plate that stops the plate rattle. alternatively you can add the other two missing plate mounting holes but that involves drilling your trunk and putting these in
either way will stop the plate rattle. Also check the spare tire make sure it's snug. Finally check the liner in the roof of the trunk. put some of that foam tape at the edges where it contacts the metal. If all of this fails its dynamat time. Dynamat the roof of the trunk and the parcel shelf.
If all that fails warp the metal braces undern the parcel shelf with that foam tape and wrap all of the wires under the parcel shelf and in the trunk(right side) with foam tape.
If all that fails turn down the damn bass, good luck.

I put dynamat behind my license plate and didn't have ported box. If you have ported pffff forget it.

I don't even have subs, but that terrible license plate rattle while closing the trunk was very annoying. I bought this on ebay for 4.99 shipped. Put a couple layers on my plate and it sounds rock solid when I close the trunk now.

I do the same as in all my cars. Just use pieces of velcro on the inside of the frame. The soft part. The trunk lid should have a square piece of rubber on it that prevents rattle against it.

another place that makes subtle ringing noice is the rear dome light. I pulled it out because it’s secured by metal anchors that hit the frame.
