That is NOT true. No modern (i.e. in the past 20 years) car that has single stage paint. The clear coat on the Obsidian is the same as the clear coat on the Ultra White and they swirl with the same ease. The only reason black looks more damaged is because of the way light reflects off the clear coat into the paint below. White reflects . Just because you can't see the swirls as easily on a white car, doesn't mean they aren't there.

I'm sure the detailing section of the forum could talk your ear off with the details.

car looks amazing you seem very talented.
question? have u used the pinnacle line of souveragn wax and they have a paste glaze for non dark colors.
products are pretty amazing was curious on your thoughts
after i clay, clean ,wax , they have a crystal mist like a liquid polymer that is unreal

Just got my is350 f sport Rear wheel from and I'm from the chicago land area. I did not get a chance to prep the car yet and it snowed like crazy here and the car is parked out side. Is this something to worry about? I'm in a suburb apartment complex.
