I was thinking of taking mine in too, never had this issue with any of my previous cars clearly something not right with this one.

has anyone who has contributed here taken their car in to have it checked and if so what did the dealership come up with?

i have two IS 250s and this happened once on the one that i've had, but is happening all the time on the other that i just purchased. i've tried all the suggestions here but the problem persists.

I haven't had this problem again but may be because I fill up now when I have about 3-4 gallons left. If I fill up around low gas warning it tends to have this issue.

thanks for the response, dojoman. i always fill up well before the tank reaches the lowest mark and i am still having this problem repeatedly on one of the two (the CPO car), so i think i might have to take it in.
