My current situation...
2014 IS350 RWD.

To trade for:
2015 435i Coupe
2015 435i Gran Coupe
ISF
Other Choices?

Opinions highly appreciated
The 4 series is nice, but they're pretty large cars now. More grand-touring IMO. Great motor in that vehicle though, that can easily tuned for 50-90 hp over factory.

New S4? Mercedes C450 coupe or sedan? Might have to wait, and rates for both are horrible on average compared to BMW's.

No, not really. The ISF is a nice car, but very dated IMO (interior mainly).

Or RC F but IS F is a classic. Maybe collectable in the future.

yesterday it was a nice car, but am i the only one,
this car is ridiculously over priced. i was in interior its nice and well appointed.
i don't think on long drives would be comfy the armrest was a joke no sunroof and they wanted 5k down 899 month

i work at a Lexus dealer and we have had a few people trade the 2is and 3is in for the rc but not a lot. it's a niche car. The IS is more practical for families. The GS is even more practical for families. I currently drive a 3is and even though it's tempting, i wouldn't switch to an rc. but i also have an SC in the garage when i need a coupe experience. If i was single with no kids, i would have an RC-F carbon, no doubt. probably in molten lava so everyone would look at me lol

Default Trading my 14

My lease is up in April and I have decided to go Bay Area style on my next car so, I plan on ordering a Tesla Model S in February. The IS has been great, but after test driving the S, there really is no going back for me. I will enjoy the remaining months with the car in the meantime.

I was in the market for a RC350 before buying the IS350.
RC is technically heavier, but you wouldn't believe it after driving it for so long. It handles much better and feels much more nimble than the IS350. And the brakes on the RC are awesome here. Here in Japan, the brakes on the RC350 F-Sport are also bigger than the IS350 F-Sport.
I personally love the look of the RC350. I've owned my IS350 for 3 months now, but every time I see the RC, it looks so damn good!
However, I went with the IS for two major reasons. I don't like the touchpad. I much much prefer the control on the IS over the touchpad in the RC. And... I know it sounds stupid, but I couldn't do anything sexual in the back seat of the RC. The IS is great for that. (That was a legitimate point during my car shopping)
If the RC had the back seat of the IS, I would have probably gone with the RC instead of the IS. Either way, I've been having so much fun with the IS so far.
I plan on going to Tsukuba sometime this month and see how it runs.

the IS350 is the best drivers car Lexus makes outside of real F badged cars. If you are looking for a great driver, you would be downgrading to get an RC.

If you want to stay Lexus, it's either something with an F or keep what you have.
