Default Air vent removal

Hi 3IS members. Have any of you guys have removed the air vent since I'm planning to wrap it in cf and I can't seem to find the instructions on how to do it. I would appreciate it alot if someone have done it and have a simple write up for it

You'll have to remove the whole bumper - it's the most difficult part. The rest is much easier, no need any instructions.

First, I'd suggest getting a set of these tools if you don't already have them:

Amazon.com: ABN Premium Auto Trim Removal Tool Kit - 5 Piece Pry Bar Set , Fastener Remover -Auto Body Repair Tools - Trim Molding Interior Door Dash Panel Remover: Automotive Amazon.com: ABN Premium Auto Trim Removal Tool Kit - 5 Piece Pry Bar Set , Fastener Remover -Auto Body Repair Tools - Trim Molding Interior Door Dash Panel Remover: Automotive

keeps you from accidentally marring any surfaces with a screwdriver or other metal tools.

Judging by the pictures below; it would appear you may need to remove the gauge cluster surround to get the center vents out since the plastic form extends out on the far left and looks to reside underneath it. Then, it will probably pull straight out.

Extra hidden plastic at top left:

The yellow pressure clips are the points that likely hold the whole assembly in place.
