Default Front license plate camera

I mounted a camera in my front license plate, it needs 9-12 volts to turn on and function properly. I was thinking to get the power from the fuse box responsible for the motor compartment. Does anyone know which fuse I could use to power on the camera ? (I don't want to fool around with the ESP or ABS or anything serious) I tried to power it from the 5A fuse for the windshield wipers bit it didn't turned on, I guess the voltage was too low. Does anyone have any idea ?

Here is the fuse box

Don't use this fuse box. There's another one the opposite side near windshield washer fluid refill.

Use this empty slot between 25 and 5A fuses. This is ignition fuse so camera won't drain your battery. It's 12V.

You probably need to get a right angle fuse tapper like this. It's how I have this installed otherwise you may not be able to close the cover without right angle.

Btw, how are you going to switch the view from front camera? Use A//V input?

oh thank you so much, the thing is I wanted to minimize the cables mess , so I got a camera for $16, and then I got a wifi transmitter $45, I just have to download the necessary app for android/apple and it will appear on my phone. I want to leave the video jack port unused in case I need it so I don't have to plug in & out the wires. It's fairly easy to set up, I just needed the electrical schematics with the voltages, for an unknown reason here in America the cars have written only the A and not both V&A, and I didn't want t get a multimeter just for this. Tomorrow morning i'll get the adapter and a fuse, hope I won't forget to ground it so the fuse won't pop. Thank you again for your help.

My 2014 IS350 FSport with ML already has that slot filled with a 5A fuse. BTW, these are low profile fuses.

Any other place I can tap Dojo? What about the original slot suggested?

Interesting, we have the same year with ML but why the fuse is different.

You can try the other empty slot above 5A, use a volt meter to make sure there's power and it only comes on with ignition.
