Looks like Deep Sea Mica is gone too although I hardly ever see that color on a 3rd gen.

so the fuel economy is the same on the is300 and is350
the only difference is the fuel system?

IS300
Electronic Fuel Injection
(EFI, D-4S)

IS350
Stoichiometric direct-tocylinder
injection system
(plus secondary port
injectors)

can someone explain the difference?

Would have been nice to see them doing the center console like the RC. Still amazes me how they ended up putting the cupholders where they did in the IS along with the horrid controller.

Cup holder location is absurd! But I think it's too early to move things around in the interior

i've never seen that color on a third generation IS -- it's a really nice color, though, along with the other two that are departing from the lineup.

Yes, though it's only rwd. The IS300 is also available in the US in awd.

I prefer the IS mouse location over the pad location of the RC. Its a more natural location versus have to arch my arm back to control the pad and hope they don't move the location to the RC. I just wish it wasn't laggy, and that the Encore/SOS features are standard and not a subscription so Lexus can nickle and dime us where this is allowed on BMW's through the 4 year period with the standard warranty.

So this is confusing, how many base choices are there for the 2016 car?

~is200t only rwd?
~is350 awd/rwd regular?
~is300 awd with a detuned 3.5 engine? F-sport interior on this model?

So now for the awd you have to get the bigger engine car? Which seems to be a complete 180 on what they have normally done.

Weird, The 200t is only 10lbs lighter than the 350 RWD. I thought for sure it would have been alot lighter...3,583 lbs vs 3,593 lbs

They also have the exact same Gear ratios in the tranny and final for the 200t and the 350, even though both car make power and torque at different points on the rev band..... Time will tell if it matters.

On a more positive note, it looks like ALL models get the same big brakes that are on the 350 (size wise anyway)..

So...this is pretty much a middle finger to all the recent IS250 owners then. Great job Lexus. You've should've done this ever since the 3rd gen came out and now you do this bull*****?

I'll be even more pissed if the 2016 USDM F-Sport models come standard with fog lights.

If it came with fog lights, it'd almost be the same as adding the ventilated seats in the '15 models when the '14s didn't have that feature.
