It has come down to an M3 6MT. I enjoy driving 6MT more than a DCT/S-Tronic.

Will be flying down to LA to pick up the car this weekend after paperwork gets done tomorrow.

I tried to get an allocation all over the place, but couldn't find one in all of CA.

Looked around and found an M3 in one of the socal dealer's inventory that was similar to how I would build my car. Sent a msg to the dealer. A few messages back and forth, we had a deal.

MSRP: 67k and change
Price paid: $63k including incentives/rebates.


The day prior, I was going back and forth with a lexus dealership with 2 pre-owned white RCF. I was set to have my credit union send them a check, but the dealership kept insisting that they needed to run my credit. I was not OK with another hard pull for no reason. Also stated that they would hold the check for 10 days before releasing to me. I told them Penfed is a large credit union and have been around forever. Yadayada, I got tired of their demands and quit responding.
