Default Impossible Wheel/Tire Setup for NYC/LI; Suggestions Needed

In addition to numerous problems since new – POOR MPG’S – POOR NAVIGATION / RADIO SYSTEM – POOR HEATED SEATS – a new problem has surfaced – WHEELS AND TIRES not able to handle NYC and LI roads, which have made my car unbearable.

Been dealing with a wheel that doesn’t hold air since mid-winter through present. Brought to two reputable repair shops multiple times, but no luck. That said, my wheel and tire setup is simply too low profile for my use.

Aside from trading-in, what are my options? Noticed the LS rims pictured at my dealer today. Can anyone help identify same? Would they fit my 2014 IS 350 AWD F Sport? Probably expensive, right?

I’d appreciate any inexpensive suggestions for my car that look nice; went with the F Sport after all. 16’s or 17’s with a good amount of sidewall. Should I stay away from "replicas"?

Thank you!

sorry to hear about all your troubles =/ . got my 350 fsport November 2013 so my car has now been through two absolutely brutal winters here in nyc/li. is buying a new rim an option? ive seen your previous posts and it seems the rim is the issue. Honestly ive hit a few total monster potholes. especially on the Grand Central Parkway, one was so bad. I just didn't drive the car for three days because I was so upset about it LOL. But thankfully no bends, blown tires just maybe in need of an alignment. If I were you id just buy a new rim but I understand that these rims have bent on you in the past. Honestly I just swerve and drive around them. You really cant have a nice car here in the winter. its just asking for it unfortunately but somehow ive managed. I don't think those rims would look great on our car anyway. I would try buying a new rim and just see how that goes but ultimately its what you feel is best for you. If you haven't already, try a place called INTRAK tires. They do amazing work from alignment and rim repairs. they work a lot with jdm cars like evos sti's and high end cars too. Keep us updated and hopefully lll see ya around on the roads!

yes, stay away from cheap replicas. get some quality 17" rims with more sidewall to cushion the ride and bumps and potholes

Thanks.

Shivad, you don't like the LS wheels pictured?

Guess I need to visit a 'rim' shop, as anything OEM will be expensive. :|
