What do you guys use to clean the interior, Door interior scuffs, , dust, etc.

 

if its light dust, use a microfiber towel. if there's a lot of dust, go over it with a used laundry fabric softener. it picks up and traps the dust pretty well. if you must use a new fabric softener, do not press hard against your interior as some [usually white] residue from the softener may rub on to your interior. if there are stuck on stains, go over with water, but try to minimize the spreading of moister/liquid. dry immediately with micro fiber towel. i would stay away from them stupid leather, softener, or other crap that says its suppose to help with your interior. your car is brand new.. it shouldn't need any of those chemical cleaner and conditioners at this point..

 

I have a ton of detailing knowledge and research over the years and I always go back to meguiars quick interior detailer. It's probably a very mild all purpose cleaner in their bottle but I still use it. Have sprayed all over my interior for months on a weekly basis and it works incredible. Cleans anything and everything including seats, steering wheel, door panels, dash and led screen. Wil not leave a greasy film behind and it self levels as it dries. And it's about 5 bucks at wal mart. Use a microfiber towel and you will be good to go.

Shopvac, microfiber towel, patience.

 

I use the following:

a. Microfiber towel
b. Armor All Original Protectant or Multi-Purpose Auto Cleaner

Spray Armor All on microfiber towel and wipe the surface. Use a clean, dry microfiber towel to wipe off the excess liquid.

As for the leather, I haven't dared to use Lexol on the seats since they're not real leather. If there's a bit of dirt or dust, I just wipe them down with a microfiber towel wet in warm water.

 

Very interesting! From now on, I'll use a microfiber towel and wet it with plain water.

 

I use Chemical Guys InterClean with a microfiber since it picks up oils from your skin.....its about 10-12 bucks a bottle and lasts. If you want some protection and a slight shine get 303 Aerospace Protectant.
Both products highly regarded by details. The 303 works well on the plastic on the engine and the exterior plastic ( vents and rear valance ) too

 

I started using Chemical Guys InnerClean for the Lexus since it's not real leather. Keeps the matte finish once dry and smells...interesting. lol. 303 Aerospace as well.

Same here! I'm also a ***** as I don't allow liquids or foods inside the cabin of my car. Anything that can make a mess (excluding wet shoes) goes in the trunk.. for now....

I've always diluted Leatherique rejuvenating oil w/ water in a 10:1 ratio (10=water) into a spray bottle and used it as a cleaning agent. It rids of scuff marks, and leaves all colors more bold in appearance w/o the glossy finish. Works like a charm for all of my cars, and the sent is very leather-like.
