I get the oem filters from Toyota (sewell or mylparts) and use Mobil 1 synthetic 5w20 for the rx. I think our cars take 0w20.

As long as you keep your receipts and a record of when/mileage of the work performed and use equivalent parts, it'll be recognized by the dealer. I did the same with my Acura TL and had no issues with warranty work and I did all my own work. The big thing is keeping receipts and using no less than the recommended/required spec parts. Doesn't mean that they have to be dealership parts/fluids though, just the correct spec parts/fluid.
