Default Lexus Enform / Radio Delay Bootup?

I own a fully loaded 2014 Lexus IS350F and noticed the Enform/Radio/Nav has about a 2 minute delay of booting up when the car is first started. I literally can't change the audio source, make a call, etc for nearly 2 minutes. I never experienced this on any other car. My 2007 Acura TLS was instantaneous. What's the deal with Lexus?

Also I noticed the Nav system does voice commands over the radio rather than muting the music. Any way to change that? Some odd choices Lexus made here and I hope I can tweak. thanks.

it's instantaneous on a 2015 is350. Could you have a defect in your nav unit?

I wouldn't say its instantaneous...takes my system about 20-30 seconds to boot up, connect my phone, etc. 2 minutes seems extreme. May want to have the dealer take a look and compare to newer models. Have you tried holding down the volume **** to force reset the system? I've heard that helps with lag.

I agree - about 30 seconds for mine. Usually by the time I get my seatbelt on and survey my surroundings, it's booted up and ready to go.

Much better than the crappy touchscreen junk in the Q50. That thing takes much longer to boot up and the backup camera doesn't work until it boots up. Ridiculous.

My music will start instantaneously however there is a 5-10 second delay in changing the station/track/source etc.
