Agreed. If you like the red interior now, you'll like it in 5, 10 or 15 years. I wouldn't worry about resale value bc these cars wont be worth much in 10 years anyway...regardless of the color. I also wouldn't worry about what other people will think is cool bc opinions vary. Just get what u like now and enjoy it. No point in over-thinking things that can't be predicted.

Finally saw the red seats in person today and that's what I am getting. Looks way better in person. Thanks for all replies.

Glad you made your choice! I have had my 3IS a little over a year now. I still love the Rioja seats. They are wearing well, looking just as new as the day I got the car. That shade of red is easy on the eyes, sporty bur not glaring (like the red seats in the current 3 series).

Your statement about the shade of red is spot on....that's what made my decision easy

Yes, I must agree with you and CtSFox! The red on Lexus looks way much better than the red on BMW! That said, I wish they had an IS250 in Nebula with Rioja, but oh well! It wasn't meant to be for me

Get what you like now!! You only live once! #YOLO

Anyways, like others have stated, it's a nice shade of red and not tacky. People do tend to give me weird faces when i tell them i have red interior but when they see it they're shocked at the style! I also wanted red interior since my Honda Type R days!!

Just wondering what type of jeans, because I will never buy them if that is a problem you are having.
Levi's 510s...nothing too cheap. I have noticed it is one specific pair though. Washed them a few more times to try and fade the dye.

I love the Rioja in my car, and I picked it over the crafted line leather. Its not a glaring red like others have said, its a very classy red interior.

The Rioja red looks so much nicer than the GS kind of drab Cabernet.
Though I still would go with black.

The black is awesome, but red is just something else. Take good care of the red and you'll be happy with it, always.

The 'r' and 'j' is actually silent, so it's pronounced "eye-o-ah".

Kidding aside, I heard one salesman pronounced it "reo-ha".
