Default 2 weeks old - 1st detail job

Hello CL community,

After 2 weeks of having my IS, I decided to give her the 1st wax job. I used a good product from Ardex which is a wax/sealant. That should be good for the paint for the upcoming winter months. Below are some pictures. Car came out pretty shiny!

lexi90....Your IS looks amazing! I was debating between this color and white and I am still not sure I made the right decision. Yours look so gorgeous.

I have to confess that I am delighted to see pics of this type of wax job *lol*

Wthrman, I was in the your shoes a few weeks ago when I bought the car. I wanted Ultra White, but the dealer didn't have it in stock. So they made me a deal on the Nebula Gray Pearl that I couldn't resist. At first, I didn't like the color and went home telling my parents. When I went back, they had the car washed and in the showroom. At that moment, I was sold I love my NGP

Looks good lexi90. I guess now you have broken her in since she has been waxed. Lol

I would always suggest claying the car first with a clay bar. Next I'd polish the car and then wax.

Agree. My father told me the same thing. I just told him it was a brand new car Next time, I'll clay it and get myself a nice polisher for the Spring!
