Just remove two screws under small plastic covers (You'll see them when open the trunk) for each tail light and then gently remove the whole light from the fender only with hands, no tools required. This way You'll get access to the bulb inside the removed part. Masking the fender area near the tail light with tape is recommended, because it's easy to scratch the paintwork when removing/installing the light. The manual describes this procedure clearly )
