The sidewalls of the 235/30 tires I have are somewhat rounded, so they don't square up to the face of the rim...that's why I suggest the 245/30...it will flush the tire more, plus give you a nicer ride.

Quick question. I have a 2015 AWD IS 350 F Sport. I am trying to run a 18 inch square tire setup on stock height with the rims linked below. Which size rim 8 with 40 offset or 8.5 with 35 offset should I get with what size tire for a square setup? Apologies for the noob question I don't know too much about wheel specs.

Use the same size tires you have on the back of your F Sport now...it's the same size rim.

If you're running a square setup, then the front and rear rims and tires all have to be the same.
If you downsize the tire on the front, then you'll have to do the same on the rear, which would then make it smaller that the stock wheel assembly.
With the +35 offset, it should clear just fine.
If you want to see for yourself, take a back rim and put it on the front...it's a +50 offset, so if it fits, then the +35 will fit no problem.

Fitment question
I had a quick question for the wheel gurus
Down springs
19x10 +42 in the rear
Will a 265/35/19 or a 255/35/19 fit?
i know a lot of guys on here run 30s in the rear... but i would like some more meat if possible.

I'm running 275/30-19 on a 19x10 +48 and I'm on Down Springs. My buddy is running 265/30-19 on a 19x10 +42 and he's on Super Down Springs. No rubbing for both of us! Most of us who own a 3IS run 30s on the rear to avoid rubbing issues, especially on lowered cars. I am not sure if it would be possible since you're on Downs, but you can always do an experiment and try. Let us know how you make out!
