Thanks Sasnuke for the help when picking my wheels and tires out. I ended up going with Rosenstein delta wheels 18x8.5+35 (235/40/18) up front and 18x9.5+38 (265/35/18 in the rear with no rubbing on stock suspension. Tires are Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus.

you said 18x8.5 + 35 fronts right? And it clears front brakes with no spacers and fender rolling? , i have 18x8 +35 and doesn’t clear the brakes so i added a 1 inch spacer and now i rub but i dont want to roll the fenders because i will get carbon fenders and carbon can’t be rolled , current trying to find smaller spacers. Also my mistake is running 245 40 18 mich 4s I probably should have gone smaller tires

I would take the info from Fitment Industries with a grain of salt.
Keeping in mind that anyone at anytime can ask them about wheel fitment on any car, it's had for them to know the entire spectrum of answers.
They likely could provide a very safe fitment without staying too far from factory sizes, but they'll never know for sure that the largest fitment is.
I would have to give them credit though, to have the vast amount of info available is still impressive.
On stock suspension 255/40/18 will be fine. There's another member running literal balloons on his stock rims that make 255/40/18 look small.
However, when you lower it, no guarantees clearances will be the same...since we don't know yet how low it will be.
You could split the difference and go with 245/40/18 in a Michelin, or really any other tire.
The Michelin 245's are fat and will look like a 255 from any other brand.,,and really 245 is a better fit for 8.5 if you're going with a 40 sidewall.
If you're going with a 35 sidewall, then 255 is a better fit.

Would there be any issues with michelin ps4s in 255/35? Figured I could live with the half inch sidewall loss and keep the speedo accurate.
Gain some protection with the fat sidewalls as well.
Just wondering if the Michelins would be too wide on the front or something.

If your 18x8 +35 doesn't clear the front brake caliper, likely the spoke design is fairly flat with little curvature from the center outwards.
For an 18x8 rim you'd ideally run a 225/40/18 on IS...while 245/40/18 is still an appropriate fitment, the tires are much taller and wider now...and with Michelins that's even further enhance as they tend to be beefier tires.
I would suggest a 235/40/18 if you want more tire and less issues...and maybe not Michelins.

Coming back to this, I ordered the wheels so thank you on the advice.

While the rim specs play an important roll in fitment, so does the spoke design.

Thanks boss I appreciate the reply, The wheels i am running are the Aodhan D02 18x8 , will try a smaller spacer if not then I guess ill have to sell these and get different ones. I am new to the IS platform and it’s starting to look like theres only a select few wheels that will fit or a staggered set up
The only way to give you a lip on a rim that narrow is to make the face flat, which won't help clear the IS front calipers at all.
A 25mm spacer is likely where you will end up...but if you can get smaller on, that would obviously be better.

You didn't stand a chance of those rims fitting the front. They are built with the same kinda concept like the similar ESR rims...polished lip with flat face.
