18x8.5 +39 (considering 5mm spacer to bring to +34)
18x9.5 +40
stock but to be lowered on rsr downs.
245/35r18
265/35r18
any issues with any of these?

I would submit that because the Superdowns will create so much natural camber in the rear, that the +38 will tuck under the fender easily...and you would need the SPC camber arms to actually take out some of the negative camber.

Also, I'm guessing with the odd size of tires that you want more sidewall, for whatever the reason...but the front wheel will be half an inch smaller than the rear. You may want to rethink the sizing.

Depending on the rim design, it may or may not clear the front caliper. A 10mm spacer would likely make for a flusher look and address any possible clearance issues.

As for the tires, I thought the front of the OEM sidewall was 40? I was planning to downsize to 35 to accommodate the wider tire width of 245 vs 225. Rear tire sidewall is staying at 35 from OEM spec. I could be overlooking something, apologies if I am.

Rim design should be fine.

The 245/35/18 would actually have a smaller sidewall than a 225/40. 40% of 225 is still more than 35% of 245.
The difference between the front and rear tires will still be 7mm, or basically half an inch.
Since you're basically running the specs of a rear F Sport rim on the front, then you should be using a 255/35, which is only slightly smaller than the 265/35 you have planned for the rear...about quarter inch...or 3mm.
The issue is that you have wider rims on the rear, but want to use the same aspect ratio (sidewall percentage/height) all around.
Using the F Sport rims as a reference, the front is 40, but the rear is 35...for sidewall height.
So if you're sticking with a 35 in the rear, then the front should be a 40...not a 35...like a 235/40/18.
The vehicle may react oddly to a size difference of that much.

hello everyone, would a reputable car shop know what the best fitment would be for my car (2017 IS200T) or should I provide them with the exact sizes based on what people are currently using as set ups?
im a super newb and not sure what I need but I know I want 19 inch rims staggered with the fattest rubber I can fit wide and the same or close side wall size to stock. Ill be staying at stock ride height.

If you go up 3 posts from your post and look at Evil Joker's specs in his signature, that's a pretty fat/wide fitment.
Some have managed to fit a 285/30/19 on a 19x10 or 10.5, but's really a lot of wheel for this car...plus cost increases for the rims.

That’s 19x10 +47 265/30/19. Just about equivalent clearance as 19x9.5 +40. Reducing offset by 2mm would be a clearance issue for me.
