In theory, with the tire I'm choosing, it should work just fine, but only because the wider wheel stretches the tire a bit, making the shoulder more round. I know for sure it'll work with the 265/35, but I like the wider tire.
👍 if yours is RWD you could go with half downs and still be ok

It's AWD. What's the difference, if you don't mind me asking?

Looks good bro. What are your tire make, model, and sizes?

They don’t make half downs for AWD just RWD. The suspension is the same in the rear for both cars but it’s different in the front.

It's that time of year...

Bring on the snow. In case anyone is wondering, the winter rims are 2IS 17" wheels powdercoated black with eBay centercaps.

wheels are about to be delivered, so need to order tires

went with these sizes and offsets

19*8.5 +38 225/35 or a 235/35 front?
19*9.5 +38 255/30 or a 265/30 rear?

I'm currently lowered with BC coilovers and will be installing SBC camber arms when I put the wheels on

Most guys go with 235/35 for the front, and 265/30 for the rear, but it depends on how stretched you want your tires to look. I don't think, being lowered and having camber adjustment, you'll have issues with any size you've listed.

Looking into a similar set up! if you were to run 225/40 tires in the front would you still rub with 18x9.5 +30? Also curious to know your rim and tire specs at the back.. any rubbing in the back?

The set up i want to go on my is350 awd is:
18x9.5 +30 with 225/40/18
18x10 +38 with 255/35/18
on rsr downs or superdowns

that's a bit of a stretch on the front. a little too much for me. the 255 on the rears don't rub at all.

Your specs will rub, I suggest:
18x9 +32
18x9.5 +40

If the offsets were swapped, then you would be ok.
The front is hard to say because with the +38 offset it really comes down to rim design if it will clear at this point.
The rear is gonna stick out past the fender a little. It might tuck in enough when the suspension compresses and clear the fender, but it's gonna be close.
