I was promised my tints would never change color and they are of higher quality. $400+ for tints? Insanity

Tell me about it. I tinted my girlfriend cars with Rayno S7 just 4 months ago for $279. Same dealer, just 4 months later for the same product, $315. At this rate they’ll be $1000 next year lmao

Gotcha so computer cut is basically the way to go it seems. The thing that has me iffy about crystalline is that it basically goes from 40% to 20%. Which means, if I want to keep it 100% legal for Florida, I’d have to do 20% rear and 40% front. Which I’m scared is too light. And one shop warned me about it having a bronzish gradient to it. Basically not being full of a black tone. Do you know if the new 3IS or 3.5IS as some are calling it, is in your programs already? Thanks for the help man.

Unfortunately with most ceramic films, you won't get a true all black tone, or smoke color. For instance, CXP films have a greenish haze, CIR has blue, I know some of the 3M ceramics have blue, and some have bronze. Xpel is bronziesh too. But if you want a ceramic film, you have to accept it and move on. Now, you can get that all black or smoke color, but then you have to get into the dyed films which aren't good for heat rejection. And they can fade and change colors.

Yes, the 2021+ IS is in our system. That's how I tinted ours. But ironically, ours is the only 21+ that has rolled thru our shop.

In FL you guys don't have to pass inspection each year like we do, so your tint won't get metered unless a cop stops you. But just about every car in FL has at least 20% and the cops don't mess with them. Not saying they can't, but they don't.
