I looked for the cheapest installer in Jersey, then looked at their ratings.. were decent. Had ceramic tint (with lifetime warranty) installed for $220 and I thought that was expensive.. I think years back, tints used to be $100 but those turned different colors and were of lower quality. I was promised my tints would never change color and they are of higher quality. $400+ for tints? Insanity

Gotcha so computer cut is basically the way to go it seems. The thing that has me iffy about crystalline is that it basically goes from 40% to 20%. Which means, if I want to keep it 100% legal for Florida, I’d have to do 20% rear and 40% front. Which I’m scared is too light. And one shop warned me about it having a bronzish gradient to it. Basically not being full of a black tone. Do you know if the new 3IS or 3.5IS as some are calling it, is in your programs already? Thanks for the help man.
Yes, the 2021+ IS is in our system. That's how I tinted ours. But ironically, ours is the only 21+ that has rolled thru our shop. In FL you guys don't have to pass inspection each year like we do, so your tint won't get metered unless a cop stops you. But just about every car in FL has at least 20% and the cops don't mess with them. Not saying they can't, but they don't. |
