It certainly varies depending on your local market, the detailer (experience etc), and perhaps most importantly the amount of prep work required to get your car into good enough shape to apply the coating.

The minimum price for all installers is $650... Prices can reach a couple thousand if extensive correction work is required. To find an installer nearest to you, visit www.cqfinest.com

IMO this is a must have if you have a black car, I have it on my Obsidian 08 350 and the paint is just way more resistant to swirls, dirt and environment contaminants it actually looks better than new, I definitely recommend Cquartz Finest.

Would this be considered something similar to a paint sealant?
In my local market there isn't a place that uses this or Opticoat.

There is however a company that does a paint sealant... :-/

Nope.. This is a paint coating.

Quick breakdown of the 3 categories of paint protection:

Wax - traditionally a natural carnauba based product. This is the most known type of car care product as it has been used forever. Wax is usually the least durable of the 3 and should be applied every 6-8 weeks typically.

Sealant - essentially a man made wax, for lack of a better explanation. These products are polymer based and tend to last several months rather than weeks.

Coating - a ceramic layer of protection that offers superior durability, chemical resistance, and overall protection. These products also offer a thick barrier that is 100's of times thicker than the average layer of wax.

Hope that helps give you a quick reference.

Reno NV, The only thing that interested me in the sealant is that they gave a 3 year guarantee with it...

Do you have the name of the product? Have you done any research on it?

Damn, the only CQuartz supplier in my province is 300km away, too much of a trip to go down there, and lose the car for a day to get it done. Otherwise I'd jump on this.

Default Sealent with 3 Year Guarantee

I have spent hours and hours researching this stuff an there is no such thing. I think the max that i have seen a sealent promised for is 1 year. If they are giving you a 3 year guarantee go for it. I am counting the days till the 25th, cant wait to get this done to my car. Today i get my CV3's installed though

Sorry - I do not know of anyone closer.

I can reach out to the community to see if anyone would be willing to travel if you're seriously interested.

You can PM me to keep this thread on topic.

Zach, would you prefer CQuarts over any other similar product? My nearest retailer is 3 hours away, and It's not much of an option.
