How do you detach the Leather gear shift neck cover from the base of the shift ****?

Quick ? , did you mean to make your carbon pattern go two different ways. Looking at the seam at the bottom of the shifter you can see it changes direction, that would bug the s.... outta me.

pull shifter boot down ,then rotate **** counterclockwise

no i did not mean to make it go 2 different ways , i did the three parts on different days.i may redo that piece

So nothing to pry or unclip, the shifter boot will just pull straight down
from the base of the shifter kn0b? I appreciate the help as I really would rather be careful and not damage parts due to not understanding how something is assembled.

nice work, everything looks nice and tight, even the corners are properly creased - nicely DONE!

any chance we can get a zoom out photo of the interior to see the contrast of the black CF with the Silver OEM?
