Default Amp install?

Hello all,

I'm new to owning a Lexus although I've worked for them and on them for quite a while. I'm planning to wire in a sub and amp I already have, ordering an amp install kit shortly (I need that punch back!).

I'm wondering where y'all are running the positive cable through the firewall to the battery? Also want to know where y'all are tying the remote wire in?

I'm coming from a 2012 Camaro, and a 2010 before that, and even with all the other cars I've owned I've never had one with the battery located outside the trunk. That makes it really easy to install an amp! With my 2012 I was even able to order a harness that made it really really easy to tie everything in. I'm no stranger to wiring cars, so I'm comfortable removing panels and everything. Any advice will be very much appreciated!
