Default USB Ports 2.0 or 3.0?

I'm trying to determine if I should purchase a 2.0 or 3.0 USB drive for my car. Are the ports in the car USB 2.0 or 3.0? Has anyone tried using both a 2.0 AND 3.0 USB drive in the car? If so, is there any performance difference?

I believe its USB 2.0. If you use USB 3.0 drive on 2.0 port there's no speed difference.

They're 2.0, a blue conductor would signify it is 3.0
This applies to both A/B F/M connectors.
