Default Lexus Intake and Exhaust Programming

Hi everyone,

I was wondering whether anyone can answer my question of whether or not the engine CPU needs to be reprogrammed after installing the Lexus intake or exhaust?

I know that when I worked at BMW (for 2 years), any Dinan parts installed (like the intake, exhaust etc), the car needed to be reprogrammed to account for the increased amount of airflow (for the intake). Does Lexus work the same way, or could one just install these on their own without having to get the vehicle engine CPU reprogrammed by the dealer?

If not, are there any other mods available that would require the engine CPU being reprogrammed?

Thanks.

Awesome, it's the same as my Honda then. I haven't looked at my manual yet, but will we need our "radio codes" or whichever security codes are needed after a battery reset?

That's odd, do we still need a security code or anything if the battery is disconnected to use the radio/navigation?
