Protection against door dings and inviting long key trenches in the paint

The side moldings don't look bad. My personal preference is without though.

 

Don't park in busy areas simple as put, but do not park in deserted areas as well because you know what may happen

When it happens get it fix or don't get it fix like you can ever keep a car perfect throughout it's life.
