I was wondering if anyone had problems with syncing your garage with the buttons on the rearview mirror? I tried what the guide said, I tried asking the dealership but it seems to not work for some reason. Anyone has this same problem with the garage button?

 

Is your garage opener old? It may not support HomeLink.
Try this video. I only had to the first part (holding remote to the mirror) for my opener to get programmed.

 

when i first synced it, i thought all i had to do was push a button to open and close the garage.. i immediately learned though that you have to hold down the button for at least 1 or 1.5 seconds for the signal to transmit--no short presses, hold it down and try it again and let us know what happens. good luck.
