Yeah.. I'm sure it was just me getting in and out of the car. I sometimes do just slide over the bolster to get out of the car. Guess I should start levitating to get outta the seat..

I just hope this crease won't get worse over time. It would be helpful to see a pic of someone's seat with 1+ year of ownership.
I've had the car for a little under 2 years now and i have minor creases on the bolster of my seat too. I'll take a pic and post it on here for you.

Yes! That'll be great. It would be good reference for me to know if this will be a long term car. I know the engine/technology would be good lasting. But, I'm beginning to see that Lexus has gone to use "cheap" materials for the interior..

can you post a pic of your seats for reference? Especially the sides.

Real leather or not, the creases are going to happen because of the way we sit on the bolsters of our seats. Let's not blame Lexus for this; nuluxe is tougher then real leather and it has held up pretty well despite my bad habit of sitting on the bolsters.

Yours does not look bad at all. For over 2 years of ownership, it aged pretty well.

I just hope mine doesn't get any worse. Gonna be extra cautious when entering and exiting the car now.

My seats have sort of puckered on the bolster and the back, where my left shoulder rests. It's ridiculous because I only weigh 110-115 pounds, and I noticed it after maybe a week or two of driving it.

Hello everyone, are all 3IS F SPORT ventilated seats with red color made of this NULUXE material?

Are there any exceptions? Thanks.

They are all Nuluxe from what I can tell, at least here in Canada

That was the downside of the F Sport when I was shopping for a used 3IS, they only had Nuluxe seats and very few options, so I found a nicely optioned non-F Sport with leather seats.

I had this too. Had the seat replaced under warranty and the same thing happened within months. I've told myself to just "learn to like it"

I'm going to have the seat back replaced under warranty at some point, there's a bit of creasing at the left shoulder and even the service advisors / techs said that isn't usually normal.

Also, I've been told that the F-Sport covers are bonded Nuluxe and foam, which means that they don't have the absurd number of hog rings that leather seats have. In other words, that seat back should come right off in one piece foam and everything, and the new piece will fit on like a glove over the seat frame, with only a few rings or clips to secure the thing on the back.

Is this product suitable for Nuluxe?
I am aware that Nuluxe isn't real leather and it should be vinyl based.
