Default Having a problem after LED puddle install

Hey guys so last night i decided to go for it and install my LED puddle lights. After getting over being petrified of breaking something i realized how simple it was. When putting everything back together i have this minor gap between the colored cover and black cover of the mirror. It was not there when i originally took apart the mirror. And its on both mirrors so i know its me that probably messed something up. The rest of the mirror fit back perfectly with no gaps. Im worried about water getting in there. Ill attach a pic but the quality is crappy so idk if you can see it. I will most likely try again to fix the gap. Anyone else experience this? Thanks for any help/advice

Just did mine the other day. Had similar problems (actually slightly worse) until I got a second set of eyes/hands to ensure everything was seated properly before screwing it in.
