I use a iphone 5. They installed a new unit in my car and it would still reboot but only while my I pod was connected to the USB port.

My media unit was replaced with one that had a new hardware and software version. Fixed it for me. Not sure when Lexus will have a fix for existing media units.

I have a stock iPhone 5S as well, don't experience my head unit rebooting on its own but do have general issues with Bluetooth connection consistency. Sometimes I have to manually reboot my NAV, delete my phone registration from the NAV settings then pair them back up again from scratch.

Is your iPhone connected via USB or bluetooth? The problems I saw were because I was using USB with my iPod.

Pralix,

Solely connected via Bluetooth. I've never even tried the USB connector yet to be honest.

Thanks.

I wish there was a configurable option to just charge the phone using the USB cable and still remain connected using Bluetooth. I think the NAV unit gets confused when you plug in the USB cable and already have Bluetooth connectivity to the phone.... I should just get one of those cigarette lighter to USB adapters.

There are USB cables that are wired to be solely charger cables.
