yeah will take a few tries before you understand what you need to do.
Maybe someone should do a youtube video showing how its done.

Does 5. mean that you move the switch downwards one clikc from the neutral center position, or just down one notch from the top position where you did hold it?

1.) Ignition off, doors closed
2.) Hold the wiper switch in the full up position. (this is the wiper off position)
3.) While holding the wiper switch in the full up position, turn the IG on. (two presses of the start/stop switch)
4.) Hold wiper switch in the full up position for 5 seconds
5.) Move the wiper switch down one "click" or "notch", hold for 5 seconds
6.) Move the wiper switch back to the full up position, hold for 5 seconds
7.) Move the wiper switch down one "click" or "notch". hold for 5 seconds (same position as step 5)
8.) Move the wiper switch back to the rest position (neutral)

If this was done correctly, the right turn signal will flash once.

To adjust how many flashes you want, you change the intermittent wiper speed switch. P1 starts with the speed switch all the way at the bottom, P4 will be the top speed. This is found on the wiper stalk.

P1: 3 blinks
P2: 5 blinks
P3: 7 blinks
P4: Function turned off

Set the intermittent wiper speed to the desired setting.

Use the Turn Signal stalk and push down like you want to activate the left turn signal, the flashers should activate

If the turn signal blinks once, you change it to the "3 flashes" setting
If the turn signal blinks twice, you changed it to the "5 flashes" setting
If the turn signal blinks three times, you changed it to the "7 flashes" setting
If the turn signal blinks four times, you turned the function off.

Once this is done, cycle the ignition switch off, and back on, and it should be changed.

I know this is confusing. I have done it to a few customer cars, and mine. The first one took a bit to understand, and I have given you the cliff notes. The repair manual is confusing as hell.

Good luck. If there are problems I will try to walk you through it.

BTW: regards to the above comment, this function cannot be changed through the Tech Stream. The method I posted is the only way it can be changed.

5. means you are still holding up, but not in the full up position.
2. - 7. you are holding up, just in either full up or 2nd up position (if that makes sense)

Yes. Makes sence. Every move is upwards. The first explenation was a bit unclear about weather it was down or up from stage 5.

Need more help with this one.

Made it through the first step and got the blinker to flash, so it is ready to be programmed.

Could not figure out how to actuallly programme the setting? Is it the rain sensor sensivity switch on the stalk that adjust this one? Where should the switch be when the sequnce is initiated?

Once you get the blinker flash ready for program, spin the "wheel" in the stalk to the location you want (2nd from bottom for 5 blinks is what I chose). I don't think it matters which location it starts from but I put mine all the way to the top before each procedure so I could "roll" it down to my desired location. Good Luck!!!

Figured this out and got it right on my car to.
I now have 5 blinks instead of 3. On my car, EU version, the switch on the stalk is for adjusting the sensitivity of the rain sensor.
Also it did not blink when adjusting, so when trying it out with the idicator stalk I actually got the amount of blinks that I had adjusted to.

And did not quite figure out how I did adjust up and down with the switch, but did manage to get both 2,4 and 7 blinks before I got to five. So on the eu cars, it may be that you are adjusting the number of blinks up and down with the switch instead of choosing between 0,3,5 and 7.
